Individual Support
Individual Nutrition Counseling
One-on-one nutrition sessions are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client and meet them where they are at in their recovery process. These sessions are meant to help clients set goals and have accountability in achieving them. I will provide education and science around how the body works to digest and metabolize food so clients can start to dismantle their food beliefs and learn to trust their bodies.
Meal and Snack Support
Often times clients need additional support to make sure that they are portioning meals to meet their needs or to eat foods that are anxiety inducing. I can eat a meal or snack with you either out at a restaurant or in my offer to process the experience as well as notice hunger and fullness cues and help practice mindfulness.
Family Nutrition Counseling
Family, friends and other supports can mean well when they make comments about food and body but those remarks can be really hurtful to their loved one. I can provide education as well as help the client discuss their needs in the hopes of having more peaceful and enjoyable meals with others.
